When I'm FC and open up multiboxing, another main reason for preferring several people bringing 1 extra alt instead of 1 person piling in, is that one of the goals is to help everyone make ISK, not the first person that manges to X-up with all his alts. If that won't fill, I might open up further.

I assume you mean switching one active character for another? Just ask the FC in comms or FC chat and sort it out on the spot, I'd say. (Unless I understand your question wrong.)

    You read the question right.

Running these requires attention. Back when short fleets were more of a thing I could count on getting about half damage from a person's second battleship and the occasional shield broadcast from the wrong character. Nowadays, with everything dying faster and the nightmares moving around more, it would be worse. Better to save the empty spot in fleet for a real human.

The other part of it is one person running 3 accounts and a second person with 1 account is generally less effective than two people running 2 accounts. So fleet as a whole benefits more from the accounts being shared and getting more brain power/attention each. Additionally sharing the wealth throughout the whole community makes better sense than having 1 person earning 3x payouts compared to people flying a single ship with 100% focus and skill.

    Thank you both.

I do have one more thing that is connected to this, how would I go about not leaving the fleet as the person but as the character that I am using?

  3. Can I get an explanation on why one ALT and not TWO would be allowed to join a fleet when 'multi-boxing' is active?

Also, could there be a way prior to joining the fleet to know if it is active or not?

I just want more information because with my ALTs, both of them, I want them to equally, to have done the same amount of sites when multi-boxing is active.
