Low sec incursions

Recommended Posts

Hello! Why WTM does no fly in incursions low sec? Here is a large community and many pilots. There's nothing complicated and dangerous. The sites is same(!!!). Realy.
The main differences: a fleet of up to 60 pilots HQ (VG up to 15). Reward Hq 45kk isk. It's easy with ordinary t3 ships (t2 fit, not afraid to lose 400-600kk, this is profit for 1 evening) + logi (maybe t3 logi)
I flew a few years with a low, pvp fights are very rare, almost no one wants pvp with the fleet of 60 people with logists, no bubbles, cyno in low incursion can not.
Now in low the Russian community flies there, they have no competition, make many isks (60-70% of fleets - drone ishtar, 2-7 accounts per person), they feel like owners lowsec incursion (pvp on dest they are prohibited by leadership, only defense). 90% of pilots do not have pvp skills (f1 monkey).
Movements along the low sec  are not dangerous if use is a covert cloack or cloack+mwd, and there are often wormholes when low is deep. Almost in any system there is a free port or station.

ps. Many pilots from the Russian community (uroborus) can go to WTM (including me, sorry for my english). Because now there is simply no alternative. And their leader is a boorish person. Because they thinks they has a monopoly. It is not right. Its reach and good space. for all. Just need to take the first step and try it. Any brave FC?

Hmm...

Interesting stuff. I am not sure, how lowsec incursioning would affect our newbro friendly policy, now even more so than ever cuz of the alpha clones.

I know an FC from that lowsec group, and she is a pretty cool person actually. But i dont know anyone else from that community.

All in all in WTM there are almost always a lot of stuff is going on... so from the outside changes might seem to be extremely slow. But we just deal with multiple things at the same time. And it sometimes takes much more time than we would like to. So changes are not so simple for us :D

At the moment, we only run highsec incursions because our fleets are not suited for it and it's considerably more dangerous. Presently we have no plans to change this.

Maybe we could get some guys to test this out? I think it could be safe with scouts posted. Anyone willing to act as a scout gets a small payout from WTM maybe?

Hi

Its prob an idea that is been thought about but ...

low sec alliances sometimes dont like groups coming in without a payment to use low sec space. white sky in genesis charge fees and their players might still target you even if u have a no shoot policy. Lots of gankers are out to kill miners and pve groups as ur fit isnt what i call a combat fit. If you move in low sec there are more gate camps and pinch points between high and low.

you will need to get mods at fraction type in major hubs and the risk to fly to them from low is greater

sorry to bust a bubble there are alot of mechanics where the risk overall is not worth it.

New to wtm incursions but ive been about in eveonline a bit...

You are not busting the bubble. We probably all are aware of how low sec works :)

Of course in low sec these fits and fleet compositions would not work so well.

And as Tesso wrote, there are no current plans.
