Ordio Soul 0 Posted December 4, 2017 Hi, Quick question: will the incoming changes to alpha clone skills allow me to fly a meta 4 hype, or similar in an incursion fleet? Thanks
niki lasvegas 535 Posted December 5, 2017 Hi! The short answer is: WTM commanders are working on it, stand by for results!

Hey if this helps, there's a pyfa dev build with the new alpha changes found here: https://github.com/pyfa-org/Pyfa/issues/1338
Ordio Soul 0 Posted December 11, 2017 Well... my old hype has 70%+ on all resists, 1100 DPS with meta 4 guns and large drones but only hits 96K EHP. Will this be ok? It seems to meet the requirements, though the EHP is a touch under. Thanks
niki lasvegas 535 Posted December 11, 2017 (edited) Simplest way to answer is : show me your fit, and i'll tell you. Hype tends to have a bit under 100k EHP, which is usually fine, but i dont want to flat out tell you that your fit is okay, until i havent seen it. Hermie KnightMar 0 Posted December 13, 2017 Alphas can actually use Adaptive Invul II's And can do the minimum fit for a vindi with meta 4 guns in just under 5 mil SP
niki lasvegas 535 Posted December 13, 2017 Yep. That is correct. The minimum fits actually can be flown by alphas.

Izumi Uchiya MD 214 Posted December 24, 2017 Either of those are equally viable starter options. Really only depends whether we need shortrange DPS vs snipers. This can be very random, but as a general answer we frequently need more of the short-range, so Rokh.
placid2 0 Posted December 24, 2017 thank you, any changes to the fit for various sites?
tesso 8 Posted December 24, 2017 1 hour ago, placid2 said: thank you, any changes to the fit for various sites? Not really for different sites, but for the rokh fit in general, you need to switch the Capacitor rig for a Thermal Rig (Large Anti- Thermal Screen Reinforcer) if your caldari battleship level is less than 4 (which is where most, if not all alpha clones are probably at.) There's also influence fitting, which happens sometimes, you can find a guide here:
niki lasvegas 535 Posted March 28, 2018 In my opinion DDD doesnt really need that many light drones. If you are a Mach you are probably best with just heavy drones. Nightmares could carry around a set of lights and a set of meds (or just 3 heavies) . But i'd say they should always use at least meds, maybe with the exception of TPPH. Juan Carlos Minjita 114 Posted March 28, 2018 The other thing I would say is this: We base all fits on all LVL5 skills when the enter our waitlist. Our fits are deliberately more tanky in order to compensate for lack of skills. This is also one of the reasons we run with more logi than strictly required in an optimal fleet. Yes, you should absolutely get your skills up. No, they are not required in order to fly with us.
