Kimori 0 Posted August 30, 2017 Do you think it would be possible to add a tool that would let you see who/what ships are in the fleet currently running, this would allow better X up responsiveness to the current needs of the fleet, and good general information. Hope others think so, and talk to you all soon. Jay.
Imelda Virpio 179 Posted August 30, 2017 When I'm FC, I have this information... and I don't know what ships I'm going to need until five seconds before I hit "INVITE." If fleet's not full, we take whoever x-es up, as fast as we can check fits. If fleet IS full, it depends on who leaves, and then I need to get replacements ASAP. Please, if you've got more than one ship available, x-up with everything.
Toh Kay Manifess 69 Posted October 21, 2017 I agree with imelda. When people ask me what fleet needs my response is usually xup with everything because i could have a full logi squad and tell you i need DPS but then 4 logi leave and i need more logi. Xing up with everything you have on you technically makes fleets run faster in the long run and makes the FCs job easier.
Juila Rose 6 Posted October 21, 2017 i concure with the above stated, usually you wont know what you need in fleet till people leave fleet, as helpful as a tool might be, it would be more work then necessary. no matter what you will always be able to make isk and have fun though. Yoshi Yamamoto 9 Posted January 6, 2018 When you X up with more than one fit and get the invite how do you know which fit to bring? For the life of me I can not figure that out
niki lasvegas 537 Posted January 6, 2018 After you get into the fleet, you look at what squad you are in, and there you go basically. If you x-d up 2 ships of the same squad, then just ask FC (e.g. Basi or Scimi). Advanced tactics: Sometimes if you are cunning enough, you look at your x-ups before you accept the sent invitation, and see if the FC approved everything, or just 1 of your fits and conclude. The last tip is if you are invited as a logi then look up at combat caps and remote TC links currently in fleet and you can also go by that.
Lord Sarevok 51 Posted January 6, 2018 In addition to what Niki said: If your Teamspeak name matches your in-game name, you should get a poke along the lines of "you were invited as [DPS/Sniper/logi]"
