Friendly Tagging Suggestion

A short while back, Boldie did a friendly tagging system that I thought worked very, very well.

In short, specific roles in fleet were tagged as

AAA - A

HHH - H

DDD -D

etc, etc.

 

I propose to make this a standard practice as it's damn useful for all concerned.

For FC's and logi to see on screen where they need to particularly watch. For dps/snipers to see at a glance where their anchors are and especially for drone bunnies to help keep one eye out to ensure they are not chasing targets out too far. 

As a fleet aid it is easy to implement and so damn easy to follow but most importantly, very effective.

Could be slightly confusing for people like me that have fleetmembers in the same tab as sanshas also, it is not that hard to read a fleet motd.

I've occasionally done it too. Not so much to help the fleet to but help myself as FC keep track of what my anchors are doing.

Its a case of unfortunately people *still* have their safeties not set to green, and its those people that it may cause a problem for. 

If we could guarantee that absolutely everyone listened to that rule, then I'd be more inclined to think yeah, sure, why not. But I don't think its a good idea while that's still happening.

How would you tag VVV? There's no letter "V" tag as far as i know, and thats probably the most useful for one for line pilots to have visible considering how much DPS moves around in some sites.

When the roles are tagged, it's sometimes useful. you have a visual cue as to where your anchor is relative to you.

VVV is tagged "Y" .  the font makes it look like a V.
