WTM Advert for In-Station

Now that Citadel release is live and we have adverts in station, who has that video magic and can create a WTM advert?! Does anyone else think it would be awesome to see that?

That would be totally awesome and would definitely push WTM for incursions. If we can get some people that cans do this that would really cool.

Something I just thought of though, is CCP still taking submissions for this? I know they ran a contest that ended April 4th but will they still take submissions to be added?

I have to believe that they will eventually have a process to get new adverts in stations. Even if it's not a contest..... 4 adverts on loop will get old fast.

Because this is a public forum for our community not a closed forum for FCs to discuss proposals. I also strongly believe that like alliance logos these billboard adverts will be open to having submissions. Fostering community interaction and creativity is good. Closing topics that aren't out of hand or clearly need to be moderated is bad.

This would be an interesting project. I write music in my spare time and I also have the full set of Adobe tools. I'm just not good at figuring out audio/video content and special effects. So I'd be more than willing to help with the production aspects and putting things together if we can get some content creators on board too.

 Do we really need an advert? I mean... People are attracted to us naturally through being Newbro friendly and having fleets in all time zones... Can you imagine the wl if there was an advert I'm every station for wtm? Haha

we will need more active badges. Not just people who check once every 4 weeks for a 2 hour fleet and then come to the fc meeting.

We will need people who can FC once a week. Same time same place and make it fun..

Activity is an unaddressed problem right now.

I like the advert idea but we have bodies to burn constantly.

I think, at the weekends, we have enough of a player base to run 2 fleets. At least in the UK and US time zones. Issue in the week is the amount of fc badges. IRL is more important than getting two fleets up and running, in my opinion.

If you want to get more fleets, push adverts in wtm local about joining the fc program.

I guess the station add would help for weekday population...

Agreed that we will need more badges, sometimes we can't even keep one fleet up due to lack of FCs. We have a lot of applications in for today's meeting which is great. We need to keep the application in the MOTD if we want to keep it effective.
