drizzt uta 0 Posted March 11, 2022 Right, Lately every time I have X'ed up on the fleet. I get in fleet to find there is No VVV. So I end up saying my good byes and Leaving Fleet, as im not 100% on anchoring. And apart from the WTM nooby guide, that does state the exact anchor points. I still find my self worrying that I'm going to be out of place, and Loose a ship or worse cause someone else to loose a ship, as the logi are to busy trying to save my ass. In the chaos of the fleets, I find it hard to identify the different types of sites. as anchoring varies depending on the type. Now sometimes the FC will call out tcrc but then call gate red and warp to a different site all together and not call out TCRC, NRF or TPPH. And then I get a bit lost as to where I am supposed to be anchoring. Now with a VVV this is easy street. but this role is sometimes not filled. What I really need is Practice, as practice makes permanent. But is there anyway I can fly the sites, like maybe on a test server, and learn my anchoring points without me causing any hassle to Fleet.

Same way VVV is your back up HHH, HHH is often your backup VVV. You can use the other Vindis in fleet as a bit of a reference while you are learning. You will quickly recognize the differences between each site, then its a matter of learning your waypoints to get to each spot. TPPH is often the hardest for dps, but only for the first spot, while TCRC is the easiest. Take some time to review the Anchoring Guide, and take your time to learn. Often the FC gets preoccupied trying to get the fleet running smoothly and securing sites to run. So just make sure you are listening to their commands as best you can and follow their align to and warp to broadcasts. You can see the name of each site when you warp to it and on the beacon when entering. True Power Provisional Headquarters (TPPH), 3 rooms, there is a tower in the last room a bit to the right that the fleet shoots at the end. Nation Rebirth Facility (NRF), 1 room, multiple waves to clear, to the left a tower is present but undamageable. True Creations Research Center (TCRC) the quickest site to run, has a staged entrance and exit so listen carefully, fleet only shoots a few sansha then shoots the tower while ignoring the remaining sansha. Hope this helps a bit
Rogueweapon 26 Posted March 12, 2022 Fleet MOTD has all the guides , in yellow and bold . Learn the spots , pay attention to where stuff spawns and be there when it does .
Vertizor 2 Posted March 12, 2022 You mentioned being unsure of which site you had. There are a few ways to tell. When you are waiting on the initial gate before entering site, in your overview you should be able to see the beacons (you got an overview from someone, right?). Only one beacon will be at a distance of km - the rest will be AU away. That's the site you're about to enter. Once you are inside, make a quick check: - Is there a tower straight ahead of you? Did someone say something about meatshielding, and call the whole fleet in together? That's a TCRC - Is there a tower ahead and to the left? With 3 smaller mushroom-shaped towers in front of it? NRF - Is there another gate in the room? TPPH Those are the only HQ sites. If you happen to be doing assaults or vanguards, just note that you are new to assaults and FC will likely give some more directions, as they are run much less often. Ricarde Moirelelle 7 Posted March 12, 2022 Another very easy way to tell which site you're in is looking at your broadcast history window, the latest warp to broadcast tends to be the site you're in
