Our channel is "WarpToMe Incursions", come on by!
-
Additionally, most incursion fleets skip local repair mods in favor of bringing dedicated logi ships to rep you
-
One heads up, we require some form of passive EM resist in either rig or midslots, which is missing from your fit. Outunis neut us dry occasionally and with invulns turned off the EM damage really hurts otherwise

Brok's Tried & Tested Potato. Dominix T1 fit.
Izumi Uchiya MD replied to Brok Haslack's topic in Incursion Fits
To echo and continue Max's point, the T1 and random faction ships are a way to get new pilots coming into our fleets, but not ships we expect people to stay in. The cost to optimize performance on the various entry hulls is much better spent getting into an optimal hull, so we intentionally design our guidance around getting people the best bang for their buck. As always, we still run on a first come first served basis, and we will not turn someone away for failing to upgrade. But naturally we encourage them to, there's a sense of accomplishment as well as making fleets run faster! -
The 1200mm Artie. Is it of use to us?
Izumi Uchiya MD replied to Brok Haslack's topic in Incursion Fits
Better than running a few hours of 1400s then a few hours with 1200s, fit a mix of both and shoot them at the same time. Then you are comparing them head-to-head in real time against the same targets. With multiple tracking midslots on the Mach, paper dps advantage of 1400s, and many times snipers are sitting still or shooting towers, I am not very confident that 1200s would be more effective. But I guess it is possible. -

"a lot missed and a lot didn't" is a subjective assessment, not data. It you want to analyze your combat logs, that could be more useable data but it takes work and time. Even then, a sniper following the VVV and shooting dps targets with 1400s is basically going to be garbage for data. -

1200 Arty?? -
Sounds like a good fit, sorry that our goals didn't line up more closely. -Izumi

Hi there, I'll try to respond in depth later, but briefly: no, your 4-link scimi will not be accepted today.

Here's a sample budget fit that works without shiny or implants, with decent underlying skills: [Scimitar, L4 Link] Power Diagnostic System II Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II Capacitor Power Relay II 10MN Afterburner II Adaptive Invulnerability Field II Adaptive Invulnerability Field II Medium Compact Pb-Acid Cap Battery Remote Tracking Computer II Large Remote Shield Booster II Large Remote Shield Booster II Large Remote Shield Booster II Large Remote Shield Booster II Medium Ancillary Current Router II Medium Capacitor Control Circuit II

Hi there, Yes it is known that there are some setups that allow Logi 4 Scimi's to bring links, namely a battery. However, frequently it requires either shiny or implants, as your fits all feature. Feel free to bring any of the setups above, they meet tank requirements and stability we require. We may soon update the Logi 4 Scimi to a battery, lots of projects currently ongoing with logi at the moment. Thanks for the ideas!

Nightmare fitting and use questions

But... So overkill.. Likelihood of being out of range of single buddy is much lower and more manageable vs multi-person chain... -

I agree with Niki, it's up to you. If chaining one is good, chaining double is better, but it requires that your buddy has 2 as well. I highly recommend fitting at least one transfer. People vary on the second utility slot, be that another cap, tractor, armor/hull/shield rep... all of these help the fleet in some way. Tractor is less commonly used as we usually ask a mach to run MTAC, but you could always chuck a tractor and mobile depot into your cargo hold for when the need arises. -

Of note, you'll notice at the top of the sheet that it assumes you have 2 tracking comps running range scripts. Usually I see 3-comp setups, with 2 range and 1 tracking. And as for cap transfer, as Niki noted the cap emission skill makes it so you spend less cap than you send, to create energy from nowhere. Sent both ways, both partners gain cap. Thanks for actively thinking about how to contribute to our fleet! Look forward to seeing you on grid. -
Yes, they may keep you locked. If they go Redbox and start shooting at you again, you just rebroadcast, no sweat
-
You can run whatever implants you like. Some people favor the speed of snakes. Personally I like the combination shields, speed, cap, and fitting of Geno's
-
Either of those are equally viable starter options. Really only depends whether we need shortrange DPS vs snipers. This can be very random, but as a general answer we frequently need more of the short-range, so Rokh.

Congrats on Logi V! By far one of the best skills to get. Far more important than cap emission V is shield emission V. In almost every case, this will give you more for your time.
-
It's on the radar but some of us think we need a proper list of skills first. With meta/bling then yes definitely possible. I refer you to our prior thread here: https://forums.warptome.net/topic/609-question-about-shield-resistance-requirements/

Question about shield resistance requirements.
Izumi Uchiya MD replied to dragon564738's topic in Warp To Me Local
The question of alpha clones is a good one. It's unlikely alphas will be given T2 invulns, and yet uncertain what skills the expanded alphas will in fact get. It is very unlikely that the skills allowed on an alpha clone will give the same kind of numbers that your all five simulation provides. We have already started discussing the possibility of Alpha Characters coming into our fleets, but this is still an early conversation. When we get a more concrete explanation of what the new list of skills will be, we can make a proper assessment. If we put aside the question of alpha clones for a minute and instead just discuss the viability of the fit that you have posted, there is a reason that we don't accept ships fit like that into Fleet. The reason for that is that we have rules for the bare minimum that we can safely allow, but you should never gimp your fit just because it fits inside the bare minimum, because you are wasting a lot of utility for yourself in the fleet -
That will depend what skills you have now. Copy that skill plan into Evemon and it can tell you everything you need to know.
-
To phrase it another way: we do not currently take Nestors into fleets under our normal operating conditions, and a Nestor is not eligible for our ship replacement program should it perish in fleet. Definitely bring the NM

Those are a couple big ones, any 0.5 system. Frankly, if you fit for tank and don't autopilot ganks are exceedingly rare.

Newbro to Fleets and Incursions
Izumi Uchiya MD replied to Persephone Askold's topic in Warp To Me Local
Adding on to Bruce's comment, Logi get the same payout as DPS/Snipers when we finish the site, usually 31.5 million ISK. We run over 100m per hour consistently, faster if we get good site spawns. If possible, ask your FC for a Logi Master to give you a rundown when you join fleet, otherwise the above guides will serve you well. Welcome to logi!
