WTM fitting page in Japanese can't import.
Bruce Warhead replied to Yararezon's topic in Warp To Me Local
I did change the fitting website to send en-us, en;q=0.9 as Accepted-Language header on jquery request Also since I figured out how to do this in the process the main website should do the same now when doing requests to the /universe/type/ api (actually to any url containing that string, but I guess that should be okay) Idk I really gotta talk to quie about this some dayTM -
WTM fitting page in Japanese can't import.
Bruce Warhead replied to Yararezon's topic in Warp To Me Local
Basically what Kimina says. You browser is looking up modules names from CCPs api, which gets the information from your browser that you prefer Japanese over English so it sends Japanese names back where they are translated. It could be programmatically be forced to English. I can look into doing this for the fitting website, since the site doesn't really do calls to anything else. Or you just change your language setting temporarily when looking up a fit. I mean the website is basically doing what you are telling it to -
Because the people that get to set the rules to what THEY think is good and works for the community are those Command Core members, you don't want to be part of. (You might very well discuss on the forums about it, but if they tell no it will stay a no) And as some one mentioned here, there is the decision ATM that the fits/rules that are offered by WTM are good for public pilots. And there are exceptions for known people (Command Core Members) if the current FC of the fleet is also okay with it, because they also know that there are other fits that can be flown if you are capable to do it and they know them good enough to know they can handle it and won't e.g. forget to put their implants in.

Nice rage post.

I got both of them in so But yeah that one exists too , guess I got them confused from the price

There is a 7% implant for Large Energy Turret btw, if you wanna spend like 3-4b on that. That one:

So Basically, for any of the command badges you need be accepted as a commander in the for the badge appropriate position. for any of the Ship/Skill badges you need to fly an appropriately fitted ship in fleet and link your fit to one of the full commanders in fleet. for some of the other badges you need to have a commander assign them to you of their own will or attend specific events like logi school. But yeah the linked post contains the requirements for specific badges.

For all the Pirate Battleships you ideally want both Battleship skills to 5 (except if you don't use a AB on your NM, then you don't care about Caldari BS with the NM) at some point. Drones Orbit targets, Targets move => Drones are not always in their orbit distance, also Drone Chasing kicks in out of Optimal range of drones so having a higher optimal helps apply DPS (e.g. Hammerhead II Optimal is (no skills) 4.2km and the chasing (using MWD) kicks in at a range of 5.6km) (Also drones have set distance they are orbiting at when orbiting, skills don't change this distance)

Nightmare Intermediate, and DPS fits
Bruce Warhead replied to Marvelous Huggins`'s topic in Incursion Fits
Burst Aerator makes you use more cap then a Collision Accelerator, for minimal more DPS (with those fits probably around 20dps). The DPS fit has a MWD (less cap pool -> less cap regen) on it, the Optimal one a Ab. Obviously you can also fit a AB on the DPS fit, as long as you have the skills to hit 650m/s without boosts using an Afterburner. If you can not reach this speed you can not use an afterburner, you would simply be to slow and hold up the fleet. You are allowed to broadcast for cap, but if you wanna help out your fleet, search for an other NM to cap chain with (that is why the captransfer is on there), this should normally make you very stable. My personal Nightmare fit, does not use any capmods at all, (I use a 6% cap implant through, which is kinda negated by the 6% RF). And I am very dependent on a capchain, without it I have like 5min cap without propmod. -
Newbro to Fleets and Incursions
Bruce Warhead replied to Persephone Askold's topic in Warp To Me Local
Hello, I hope I can answer your questions 1st: Same as everybody else (unless they get tips too) depending on how fleet goes normally between 100-200 m/hr. So depends how much you invest a basic logi ship (we only take scimitar or basilisk) cost you about 300-400 m isk. So depending on your time you can probably get that back within 30 days. 2nd: Most incursion groups run on public people, means while there is one up (check our motd for that), and there is most of the days one up you can join/leave when ever a fleet is running. (again check motd/waitlist website for fleet status). Theoretically you don't need to be invested at all. Go there when you see fleet is up (don't x up more then 3 jumps out), go on waitlist (there might be some wait time, or not) and join fleet. You can leave at the end of every site (10-20min normally), leaving during a site is possible too if you inform fc and it really needs to be, some times you can't stop real life, but yeah don't do this regularly please. 3rd: We have this Logi Rookie guide and this more general guide And some times logi schools . When you join fleet the first time, tell the FC too that you are new and this is your first time. So they can go over all the important information with you. Hope this helps, if there is any further questions feel free to ask them! -
Any chance you could tell me what change you are referring to exactly and why? Edit: Boldie told me, the watchlist highlight people in space is what he referred to.

Require all non-mach snipers to fit at least one cap transfer to utility slots
Bruce Warhead replied to Josh Cox's topic in Incursion Fits
That channel was created by some random FC without any prior permission from what I remember. Was judged a terrible idea and told to not use it anymore? Correct me if I am wrong, since that was quite a while ago. But really there is no need to have a channel, look at your overview for who else is a Nightmare if you need a cap buddy, start a conversation with them in order till you find one that doesn't have a cap buddy and has the right cap transfer (meta4/T2) for you. From my experience they hardly ever refuse if you ask them directly. While they kinda ignore you if you just ask for a cap buddy in fleet. -
maybe , not that it really matters much as long as I have my safetys to green, might just try to shoot more otunis then normal
-
Could be slightly confusing for people like me that have fleetmembers in the same tab as sanshas also, it is not that hard to read a fleet motd.
-
If you are talking about 40 Nightmares cap chaining and repping (2 or 3 with 2 caps for combat caps) yeah, would need to agree that would probably be pretty dope

This is not really predictable, the Vindi might get you into fleets a bit faster more often, but some times the Nightmare might get you in faster :(. It really depends on the time and people xing. Anyway as sparta said already both of them are great ships, so if you think you will be more confident with a Nightmare, go for it.

Maybe you got just banned because your name is retarded and got confused with some one elses. Still going to find some one to confirm what is going on.

Another Newbro saying Hi with ship questions
Bruce Warhead replied to Throte Punch's topic in Warp To Me Local
So a golem is actually pretty decent if you use your TPs on the right things, e.g. Mara sniper targets (instead of your own) and you don't have multiple of them. The downside is delayed weapon damage (the reason you are short range dps, you it is not that delayed), because you are going to loose a salvo of damage now and then unless you think a head and maybe switch target a little ahead of time. The preferred Incursion ships by our Community are Vindicator (Blaster, ,short range dps), Nightmare (Tachyons, sniper) and Machariel (Arty, sniper) I personally have a slight dislike towards the Machariels, because Nightmares do more dps and have better application at the ranges we need. Some people argue that Machariels are good to have in certain situations because of their superior alpha, which might help win contests (2 fleets fighting over a site, the one that did more damage to the rats/structure at the end wins and gets payed by concord). The basic thing behind it is, Machariels can try to sniper armor/hull damage (which have less resists then shield and thereby more base damage going through) with their higher alpha. But lets be honest even the best Machariel has so much worse tracking then a good nightmare, that in average they probably hit for less damage and only get a good alpha strike that they are so proud of now and then. Because the way guns work if you have none optimal tracking towards are target, you lose applied dps FAST. Edit: Our fitting page: You can find out preferred hulls under Battleships -> Optimal Battleships and under Logistics https://wl.warptome.net/fits/ -

Bruce Warhead replied to Throte Punch's topic in Warp To Me Local
Hello, I saw you in Local I think, so your questions might already be answered. But: WTM in trying to be especially accepting towards new members. As such we do not discriminate towards bad fits/skills/hulls, as long as we don't see a better alternative for the same skillset. Meaning: You get into fleet as fast with an Hyperion then you do with a Vindicator or any other of our allowed hulls. It is first come, first serve in your category (sniper/short range dps/ logi) If you fly a Golem, you will be a short range DPS ship, but Golem because of it's hight skill requirements requires T2 weapons. The utility modules are there because the Golem has the slots, and some times people drop into armor or hull and it is nice to have some one then who can repair it without the person needing to dock up. -
Require all non-mach snipers to fit at least one cap transfer to utility slots
Bruce Warhead replied to Josh Cox's topic in Incursion Fits
I'd rather vote for Macharials needing to have a cap transfer and locking every cap broadcast and then needing to server NMs, that way they have sth to do too. But sadly they need that tracktor beam. -
I'd recommend taking a VIndi instead of the the Rattle for short range through, once you have gunnery skills, It uses same Battleship skills as Machariel, even with meta4 guns the vindicator is giving more for incursions (then the Rattlesnake),

Require all non-mach snipers to fit at least one cap transfer to utility slots
Bruce Warhead replied to Josh Cox's topic in Incursion Fits
Well, every commander has his own opinion about that, and I agree with that NMs should have cap transfers and cap buddy. But Basis are there to give cap to people that need it, including snipers. Sure it would be "nice" to get less cap broadcast, but using you RCT is part of the basis work. If you ever feel like you and your basi friends can't handle the amount of broadcasts, give 3 cycles of cap and move on (don't do this on Otunis target obviously). They will rebroadcast at some point if they still need more. -
those requirements are meant with Level 5 skills applied, it doesn't matter what his skills are, they where chosen with some buffer in mind. to OP: yes your fits looks alright, just join the ingame channel "Warp To Me Incursions" and read the motd there. Additionally this is worth a read too. You can find additional fits here: http://wl.warptome.net/fits/
